The Crossing Borders Program provides internship and scholarship opportunities for upper-level undergraduate and graduate level University of Victoria students. We are currently offering internships in India, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia as part of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program (QES) and the President's Beyond Borders Fund. Interns will work with regional, national and grassroots partner organizations working on issues of community development, refugee education, and migrant/refugee rights.
These internships represent a unique opportunity for work-integrated learning, experiential learning, the development of cross-cultural understanding and communication skills, and first-hand experience of grassroots community engagement, advocacy and activism in the global south.
